Join us for a FREE one-off workshop on grounding your movements with visiting international artist Laís Rosa (Brazil).

If music runs through your veins but you find it hard to write a song then this workshop is for you. Learn how to needle the threads of poetry, melody and rhythm to craft your own tunes.
This event is FREE for First Nations, Global Majority (POC CALD), LGBTQIA+ and Disabled people.
Allies outside of these communities are warmly welcomed to attend, with a small donation to support the program.
All donations $2 and over are fully tax-deductible.

Kyron Weetra (he/him)
Kyron Victor Joseph Weetra is a Narrungan/Saxon multi-disciplinary artist living on Ngarrindjeri land in Inman Valley. Kyron is a writer, actor, comedian, musician, songwriter, D.J. and a moonlighter in many creative worlds.
Kyron was one of the inaugural First Nations writers in residence at ActNow and is currently working on reconnecting with his peoples language through music. He also helped devise the interactive ActNow show ‘Like Me Like You’ which was performed at the 2021 DreamBig Festival and continues to be performed in schools today.
He loves and lives for his music having played on the street and in various bands and establishments for the past 15 years. He is currently in a post-pub band called ‘The Mulloways’ and a jazz funk band called ‘Thoma & The Humbugs’.
Kyron is ever-excited about the arts communities and opportunities that are ever growing in South Australia!
