Creating culturally safe workplaces

We’re currently redeveloping our antiracism program for workplaces, Tackling Racism, and we thought it was a good time to share some of the work we’ve been doing in this area.

Over the last few years, we’ve consulted with our communities and, in collaboration with Democracy in Colour, we’ve developed a series of posters designed to equip workplaces with the resources to create an anti-racist environment that is culturally safe for people from diverse backgrounds.

Designed by our Digital Innovator, Sam Wannan, these posters explore: important questions to consider when working towards racial justice at work; the barriers to creating inclusive workplaces and how to address them; steps to accountability, justice and repair; and facts and figures that speak to the impact that racism and discrimination have on First Nations people, people of colour and people who identify as LGBTQIA+.

The posters are available to download and print below. Put them up in your workplace to spark conversation and start taking the steps to make your organisation safe.

Our posters are completely free to download and use, but if you would like to support us in continuing our work, we welcome your donation. ActNow Theatre operates as a not-for-profit, so all donations $2 and over are tax deductible.
