Monique Hapgood

Monique is a maker, creative producer, and artist with degrees in Music Performance and Speech Pathology. For the past decade, she has dedicated herself to building structures for change through storytelling, particularly in the arts, disability, and advocacy spaces.
Born of Bundjalung ancestry, Monique advocates for community, and culture is at the heart of her work. She actively seeks opportunities to gather and celebrate local artists at all stages of their careers. Her portfolio includes projects with State Opera SA, Adelaide Festival, Adelaide Cabaret Festival, Adelaide Fringe Festival, Country Arts SA, Co-Opera, Riverland Youth Theatre, Autism SA, and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Through these engagements, she has delivered numerous productions and programs, reaching thousands of people across Australia.
Monique firmly believes that for change to be impactful, we require the inclusion and recognition of diverse voices.
