Chela Bett

Chairperson (SHE/HER)

Chela is an engineer who works in the water industry and has a passion for the arts. She has participated in various programs at ActNow Theatre, specifically Theatre of the Global Majority, and has also hosted Soul Lounge, a poetry space for People of Colour.

She has worked to engage migrant youth in outreach programs and is a strong believer in empowering communities.

She is part of a queer, POC DJ collective that runs events for underrepresented people.
