Dramaturg Teddy Dunn and playwright Phillip Kavanagh will tag team this session on the dramaturgy of queer performance and character, starting with theoretical frameworks and moving into the practical application of these ideas.

Teddy will explore the differences between the idea of queer theatre, the idea of queer representation and the idea of queer performance (real or on stage), and Phil will lead a session applying these ideas to your writing, using impulse and Surrealist methodology — tapping into your subconscious to see what unknown stories lie beneath the surface of your mind.

This session is open to LGBTQIA+ people across all levels of experience. Snacks are provided!
