First Nations Workshop with Katie Aspel

  • MakeSpace 253 Gouger Street Adelaide, SA, 5000 Australia (map)

First Nations artists are invited to join us for a FREE workshop with Ngarrindjeri/ Gunditijmara singer/songwriter Katie Aspel.

Katie’s songs revolve around her vocals, she experiments with different sounds by working with a variety of producers. She has performed all over South Australia, notably at the Fringe Festival (winner of the emerging artist award), SA Music Awards and regionally.

Katie loves performing live and sharing her stories, hoping others connect with her through her music. In this workshop she will be showing you how you can write your own stories in the form of songs.

All First Nations people aged 18+ are welcome. No experience necessary!

Let us know if you can join us by sending an email to rsvp@actnowtheatre.org.au
