We are holding Open Auditions for young professional actors who are interested in innovative arts projects with significant community impact. We are looking for actors who have trained and/or have professional theatre experience and are able to play high school age/young characters. Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and culturally and linguistically diverse people are encouraged to apply (regardless of past training or professional experience).

Auditions will be held on Tuesday 4 April 2017 at Carclew (11 Jeffcott St, North Adelaide) between 9.30am to 5.00pm. You will be required to present a 2-3 minute monologue and participate in a small group workshop. Each audition group will be required for 1.5 hours. ActNow Theatre creates youth lead, socially conscious theatre projects. Working from our base in Adelaide, we collaborate with young people and community groups to create projects that are innovative, informed, inspiring, and often confronting but never conventional. ActNow Theatre is known for its work with forum theatre and particularly its productions of ‘Responding to Racism’ and ‘Speak Out’.
