Laura Gilbie – Treasurer
Laura is passionate about social justice, with women’s rights being of particular interest. In July 2012, she finished a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) at the University of Adelaide, concluding several years of accounting study at TAFE and university. She is excited to be able to apply this knowledge as Treasurer on the ActNow Board.
Additionally, she is currently the inaugural treasurer of the South Australian Feminist Collective, and has been involved in various other social and environmental justice groups and campaigns. These include student-run environment and Fairtrade collectives at the University of Adelaide, and the Australia Western Sahara Association.
