Lachy Micklethwait | Artist
Lachy Micklethwait began acting as a teenager, learning his craft through high school classes and extracurricular tutorials at Actors Ink. He was cast in a number of professional projects during this time across short films, radio adverts, television and theatre, including ABC’s Prank Patrol, and the multi-award winning Scottish gang drama Fleeto, by Paddy Cunneen.
After graduating high school, Lachy was accepted into Flinders University Drama Centre. At Flinders, he had a number of pivotal roles in plays such as Pornography, August Osage County, Don’s Party and Love and Information. Since graduating, Lachy has focused on working predominantly in children’s theatre and has been lucky enough to work with Windmill and Splash theatre companies.
He is keen to embrace his Indigenous heritage within the arts platform, and hopefully be a positive role model for other Indigenous actors and creatives.
