Kym Begg | Artist/Board Member
Kym Begg is an emerging theatre director studying at Flinders University Drama Centre. At Drama Centre he has directed work by Dennis Kelly, David Hare, Nick Enright, Bram Stoker adapted by Liz Lochhead and Ramindo Cortese, as well as Howard Barker and Harold Pinter independently and local Adelaide based emerging playwrights Gemma Sneddon and Jake Brown for Urban Myth Theatre of Youth. He has directed a reading by Matthew Whittet for Duende Theatre Company. He has been seconded to the State Theatre Company of South Australia‘s Holding the Man by Tommy Murphy and the Young Guns Playwright Award both in 2011. He has worked for No Strings Attached Theatre of Disability, ActNow Theatre, Urban Myth Theatre of Youth and Adelaide Festival Centre’s Greenroom programme.
