Yasmin Gurreeboo | Associate Artist
Yasmin has worked in the cultural sector for the last two decades and is a theatre director and community arts practitioner. Yasmin is also the Artistic Director for Foul Play Theatre and Co-Producer for the Directors’ Collective South Australia. Yasmin was the Artistic Director of the West Wing Arts Centre in Slough; Artistic Programme Manager at Harrow Arts Centre, and Producing Associate at the Barbican Centre in London. Yasmin has extensive experience as a Community Arts Practitioner across educational and non-educations settings, and has worked for Proteus Theatre Company (UK); Wildcard Theatre Company (UK); Images of Elsewhere (UK); Tutti Arts (SA); No Strings Attached (SA); Company AT (SA) and Fairfax Festival (Vic).
Yasmin Gurreeboo has a first class honours drama degree from the University of Exeter and is an alumnus from the Jacques Lecoq International Theatre School, Paris. In 2010, Yasmin was the recipient of a bespoke Cultural Leadership Grant for mid-career leaders.
